If you can please let us know what you did to cause this, we will eliminate the bug. To get rid of them, check them off and then use the "delete checked items" menu option in the toolbar.

We provide both options so that people can choose how they want to use it. We may add an option to automatically set the status to "completed" when you check off a task.

The site is smart enough to prematurely refresh this cache if the user modifies the folders on the website. However, if you modify the folders via the API, the site is currently unable to force this cache to refresh, so you will need to wait 10 minutes for folder changes made by the API to be reflected on the website. We are looking into fixing this. In the meantime, you can speed this up by making a trivial edit to a folder and clicking the "Save Changes" button on the folder organize page.

What you would do is click the action icon (circle with arrow inside) on the parent task and select "permanent link". This will display this task with its subtasks all by itself. Now use the multi-edit tool in the toolbar to change all the folders in one action.

Instead we use priorities, due-dates, stars and other attributes to sort on. You can manually sort subtasks, if you want to upgrade to a subscription and use that feature. We have a free trial so you can see if that will work for you.

Just use your languages built in random number generator. Or concatenate several small random numbers together into a long string. It doesn't really matter as long as it is unique.

You can now set a start-time for a task.
