We do not comment on our future directions, but as always we will continue to work hard on Toodledo and in the direction that we believe is the best for customers.

I know that you (and a few others) have been asking for saved sort/filters for years. We have not done it yet because it is a lot of work for relatively little gain, since this feature would only save a few clicks here and there. We have been trying to focus more on things that can't be done than on optimizing clicks, not to say that isn't important too, just that we haven't been focusing on it lately. We'll come around to it.

It is not possible to have multiple folders per task, but you can have multiple tags. Please give tags a try.

Event driven task creation is an interesting idea. You could do it via our API, but it would require some work and programming knowledge. It is unlikely that we will implement something like this, but I'll put it on our todo list.

You may also be able to get by with CSV imports whenever you need to make a batch of tasks.

This conversation is getting off topic. May I suggest that someone create a topic in the "Getting Things Done" forum on this website to discuss how to use Toodledo with the GTD method?

We want Toodledo to be flexible enough to support any productivity methodology. If you want to stay true to GTD and keep simple lists, then you can do this, perhaps by ignoring the outline section if you want.

The outline section is a useful tool for certain purposes. For example, just today I created an outline of the steps needed to manually test a new feature for this website. I had 120 steps with various levels of indentation. As I went through the outline, testing things, I would check them off. When I was done, I used the toolbar button at the top to uncheck everything so that I could run through the checklist again. For me, this was a perfect use of an outline (as a reusable checklist). It would not have been efficient to make 120 tasks for this purpose.

I guess what I am saying is that it's the right tool for certain jobs.

The mobile website is still very much in use and under development. If it isn't syncing well, please try clearing your browser cache and reload the page and signin again.

Someone else will have to answer this because I did not know that Excel could edit XML files and I have never tried this in combination with Toodledo Import.

You will be able to link any existing outline to any task. You will also be able to create and link a new oultine to any task.

Different browsers have different quirks and this is one of Chrome's quirks. We have tried to speed this up for first time quick-search on Chrome, but haven't been able to find a away around Chrome's quirks. My recommendation is to try to switch to a view with fewer tasks displayed before doing the search. The fewer tasks you have on screen, the less work the browsers has to do to search through them.

Unfortunately, this isn't possible, but it is on our to-do list. However, we do not comment on timeframes for implementation.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that. I assumed that you had a Pro subscription. Without a Pro subscription the history is limited to 1 week.

This is very strange. I has just deleted and re-added a twitter connection on my account. I was then able to successfully tweet a task from Toodledo and send a direct message from twitter to Toodledo and both worked. I am not sure why it isn't working for you. I do not see any error messages.

I will have to keep investigating.
