Im sorry, I dont quite understand what the problem is. Can you please elaborate?
If you are talking about the iPad app, the task's details have always been displayed on the right side of the screen. The Organize and Tools sections are on the website only.

Your question is about a 3rd party tool that syncs with Toodledo. Please contact the company that makes that software for assistance.

Yes, you can do this. When a practitioner assigns a task using our collaboration tools, they can then get notified when a change happens to that task. You can opt-in to this notification by going to the collaboration page and selecting "Activity Log" from the left side of the page.

This is the primary way in which a to-do list is not like a calendar and is one of the limitations of syncing a to-do list with a calendar. If you sync with a calendar, then I recommend that you only use dates for hard dates, events and appointments. Tasks that do not have a specific hard date should be left dateless and you can then use priority/status filters to hide tasks that you want to push off.

They are probably on the hotlist because of one of the other hotlist settings (priority or due-date). If you only want to see the starred tasks, then you can just look at the starred list instead of the hotlist. You could also make a saved search that had the exact criteria that you want.

You will need to contact Appigo.com for assistance with syncing their app with our website. You do not need to upgrade Toodledo to access your notebook entries.

This has been a big year for us. On the company side, we have moved into a new larger office and doubled our workforce. This will give us a lot more momentum in 2013. Look for some exciting things early next year. In the meantime, here is a list of the amazing things we accomplished this year:
Reliability
We were able to maintain an uptime record of 100% for the year. We did not experience any downtime or any notable problems with our infrastructure. See Pingdom for more info.
Main Website
Perhaps our number one request: Joint tasks! You can now use our collaboration tools to create a task that appears on multiple people's lists simultaneously and any of them can edit or complete it.
Toodledo now has a Bookmarklet, which is like a mini browser plugin that allows you to quickly add a task from any webpage you happen to be on.
Also:
1) Enhanced forum searching.
2) Keyboard shortcuts for the notebook section.
3) Improved security of password reset mechanism.
4) If you refer someone to Toodledo, but forget to have them use the special referral link, you can still get credit after the fact.
5) For Pro Plus users, the File Attachment page was enhanced with a count of the number of tasks with each file, and a way to see those tasks. You can also now search for tasks with or without files.
6) We doubled the amount of file storage.
7) Facebook and Twitter integration: You can now tell your followers about your Toodledo accomplishments.
8) Ability to sort tags alphabetically.
9) The notebook section now has a button to timestamp entries into the notebook.
10) Redesigned collaboration page to be easier to setup and understand.
11) Fancy Interactive Graphs.
12) Added a page in settings where you can see a record of the past alarms that have been sent on your account
13) Our Email Importer tool was improved to support European dates, clipping signatures and blank subjects.
14) Private folders, contexts and goals are now visually marked as such.
15) The notebook section can have a default view now.
16) Improved payment system, which now allows you to make multiple purchases at once.
17) New tutorial videos to help new users get introduced to Toodledo.
Mobile Website
We released a brand new mobile website at m.toodledo.com. It provides offline support and works in all the major desktop and mobile browsers. It provides access to tasks and notebook entries and has many of the features that you would expect (sorting, searching, filtering, editing folders, timers, etc...) This product is still technically in beta, but we have made many improvements to it throughout the year, and we expect to take the "Beta" label off of it soon.
iOS app (link)
1) Can now reassign tasks to your collaborators.
2) You can now promote a subtask to a regular task.
3) iOS6 and iPhone 5 compatibility.
4) Syncing with Reminders app with Siri support.
5) Support for the timer.
6) You can tweet your accomplishments.
7) Search now looks in the note text.
8) Retina graphics for iPad.
9) Unique sound for date vs location alarms.
10) Added 30 high quality alarm sounds available for in app purchase.
11) Sync log is now viewable so you can see a record of what was synced.
12) List dividers can be toggled open/closed and show the number of tasks inside.
13) If a task has an alarm, the details page will now show exactly when that alarm will happen.
And for those of you who upgrade quickly, you saw a preview of our new redesigned user interface. We released this with version 3.0 but then quickly reverted back to the old interface because we received a number of complaints about certain aspects of the design. We plan to fix these things and then reintroduce the new design early in 2013.
Overall
In addition to above, we fixed a number of bugs and smaller improvements across all of our products.
We appreciate all the support and suggestions that we have received from everyone. We are striving to make Toodledo the best productivity tool on the internet, and we have big plans for 2013 and beyond. Thanks to everyone for making Toodledo a success.
Happy New Year!
PS. For those of you who read this entire post, please enter "newyear13" into the promo code box on our purchase page to enjoy 10% off the price of an upgrade or renewal.

I guess what I am trying to get at is that the due-date modifiers (by, on, after, optionally) really only make sense for the to-do list, and do not translate well to a calendar. The calendar uses start and due and uses length to calculate the missing one. I realize that this is a little confusing, but I think that it would be more confusing if Toodledo's "due-date" was sometimes iCal's due-date and other times iCal's start-date.
My suggestion is to use start/due dates if you rely heavily on calendar syncing and avoid using "due on" and "due after".

If you go into your account settings and change your subtasks setting to "Indented mode shows all subtasks nested, even if the parent shouldn't be visible" Then I think that will solve it for you.

Thanks for the suggestion. We do not comment on timeframes for implementation, but this is on our to-do list.

You have discovered one of the differences between a to-do list and a calendar. They have slightly different behavior for how dates, times, and alarms behave, and there is a difference between a task and an event. We try our best to translate these values correctly when you sync your to-do list with a calendar, but it isn't perfect.
If a task is due Friday at 3pm, then most people would want the alarm to be based on that time. If you are trying to make an appointment that starts at 2:00 and ends at 3:00, and you want the alarm to come before the start time, not the due-time, then you will need to adjust the alarm leadtime to account for the length of the task. I know that this isn't perfect. The better solution that we may do in the future is to allow alarms to be based on both the start and due times.

As a gift to all of our loyal users, we have decided to take some features that were previously available only to Pro Subscribers and make them available to everyone for free.
1) Free users will no longer be limited to having 5 locations. Everyone can now have up to 100 locations to track where their tasks can be done.
2) All users will now have access to Goal Chains to help you track progress on your important goals. This would be a great time to setup your New Year's Resolutions and use goal chains to help you keep them.
3) The Foldable Booklet can now be used by anyone to make customized booklets that you can print out, fold up and take with you.
4) The Account Activity page now shows the complete history for everyone, so that you can see what/who is accessing your account.
Happy Holidays from Toodledo!
