Apple needs to provide access to Siri, which they have not yet done. With iOS6 (coming out someday), they have provided access to the Reminders app data, which gives us a conduit to Siri. We are exploring this as a solution.

You can also do this: http://www.toodledo.com/info/help.php?sel=135

When you use a 3rd party app, you give it full permission to do anything that you could do, including delete all your tasks. We do not currently have an undelete function, but this is on our to-do list to add in a future update. Sorry.

This is not currently possible. Your collaborator will need to export their own folders.

Your question is about a 3rd party tool that syncs with Toodledo. Please contact the company that makes that software for assistance.

Toodledo now has a Bookmarklet, which is like a mini browser plugin that allows you to quickly add a task from any webpage you happen to be on. You don't have to switch back to Toodledo. It even includes the URL of the page you are on in the task's note.

This is a great way to flag a webpage for later action. For example, suppose you found a nice article that you want to read, but you don't have time right now. Just click the bookmarklet and add the task to Toodledo. Later, when you have time, click the link in your Toodledo task and go back to read that article. Or, suppose you are reading an email in Gmail that you want to act on later. Just click the bookmarklet and add it to your Toodledo list. Then when you want to return to that email, click the link inside the task on Toodledo and you'll be right back in the email.

The bookmarklet also has a way to quickly view your tasks from anywhere. Just activate the bookmarklet and click the "View tasks" button. A small popup window will appear with our mobile website loaded inside for quick access to your to-do list while browsing the internet.

The bookmarklet is compatible with all major web browsers and can be installed in seconds. You can find it in our "Tools" section at the top of the page in the "More" section.

It sounds like Pocket Informant deleted all your tasks. We have gotten several reports of this happening in the last few days. Pocket Informant may have released an update recently that has a bug that causes this problem.

Check your Recently Deleted Tasks list. This is located in your account settings. It will explain who deleted your tasks. If it was PI, then you will need to contact them for assistance. We cannot support 3rd party apps that misbehave.

If you are using Pocket Informant and this hasn't happened to you yet, I suggest that you immediately take a backup of your account which you can use to restore your data should PI delete your tasks.

It is not possible to hide folders in any versions of our website. You might try using contexts or tags instead which can be filtered on. You can also make a saved search, but these are currently only available via the main website.

If you want to drag it up or down, you need to drag it all the way up or all the way down off the ends of the list, otherwise it will be dropped onto an existing task.

The difference between a fixed list (status) and a customizable list (context) is huge from a programming point of view. I am sorry that the status options are not what you need. Have you tried using tags instead? These are totally customizable and may suite your needs.

You can turn a subtask into a task by dragging it out of it's parent and dropping it somewhere that is not on top of another task. For example, drag it to the left and drop it on the left sidebar. I just tested this and I was able to do it in Chrome and Firefox. If you can't this to work, please let us know what browser you are using.

Unfortunately, this isn't possible, but it is on our to-do list. However, we do not comment on timeframes for implementation.

Thanks

The total at the bottom of the screen is for all tasks on the page. So to prevent double counting, remove the time estimate for the parent task. Since it is just a container it doesn't really have a time of its own. The subtasks have the times.

Its not like hiring a carpenter to fix your car. Web developer and Android developer use the same skills. Any good web developer could also do android development without trouble and we will figure this out in the interview process.

I would suggest contacting the company that makes gSyncIt for assistance. There is also another product called Ceptara that can do it as well. These will sync Outlook with Toodledo and keep them synced.

If you just need a one-time import, you will need to export a CSV file from Outlook. Outlook 2007 is a little old. You may need to search the web for instructions on how to do this.

This would be nice, but we do not have immediate plans to make one. We have a free API that developers could use to make one, so hopefully someone will at some point.

This has been reported before. We do not support Ubuntu for two reasons. 1) We do not have an Ubuntu machine to test on. 2) The number of our users who use Ubuntu is so incredibly small that it does not make sense for us to set up a Ubuntu machine and fit it into our test cycle. Sorry.

From what we have heard, Chrome on Ubuntu seems to have bugs.

To view the total time of subtasks, what you do is click on the action icon of the parent task (circle with arrow in it) and select "Permanent link". It will total the timers and lengths at the bottom of the page.
