We decided to send updates in batches. This way, if someone edits a dozen tasks you get one summary email instead of a dozen emails, which would be annoying.

As a result, we removed all stuff that interfered with this and simplified the API to the core functionality required to sync. What you will need to do is sync and cache all the data in your program and then apply the filter locally.

After looking at the code I can see that if you do not tell Toodledo to reschedule the task by setting "reschedule=1" then it will not update the goal chain. We will fix this, but in the meantime you can set reschedule=1 to get it to work, if this is compatible with how you are syncing.

I have verified that we are generating our CSV file correctly. If you change the file extension of the file to ".csv" and then open it directly in Excel without importing it first, then it will load correctly with multi-line notes in once cell.

We do not test our website on linux because it is such a small fraction of our users. Can you test this on a mac or pc and see if the same thing happens?
