It may be possible to make a grease monkey script. I don't know exactly what you want. Give it a try and let us know.

Quick search only searches the titles, by design. If you want to search other fields, you need to be on the advanced search page.

Apple provides 3 types of location monitoring.

1) GPS. This kills your battery. We only use the GPS when you have opened the map inside our app, so that it can plot your exact location. Otherwise we do not use the GPS.

2) Significant Location Change. Apple will tell the app whenever you have moved a significant distance. It does not use the GPS, but rather uses Wifi and Cell tower triangulation. This is nice to the battery. This is what Toodledo uses. We get periodic updates about your location, and we compare this to your locations to see if you are near enough to one for us to trigger an alarm.

2) Geofencing. Apple will tell the app whenever you have entered or exited a predefined region. Apps are limited to 50 regions. Like #2, it does not use the GPS, so it is nice to the battery. We do not use this method because in our testing we had trouble getting it to work reliably and with good sensitivity. Option #2 worked better for our needs, in our testing.

Apple's documentation suggests that battery usage between options #2 and #3 are the same.

If you are running the latest version of our iPhone app, joint tasks should be tagged with an icon in the list so you can see which ones are shared.

As mentioned before, what we have released is only the first steps. We plan to enhance it in future updates. Thanks for the suggestions.

It sounds like your timezone is set incorrectly either in Toodledo or in Google Calendar. Check your settings in both places to make sure.

We intentionally did it this way to make the initial feature easier to understand and implement. What you are suggesting adds a tremendous amount of complexity because we have to support subtasks without parents and parents with missing subtasks. We will consider it for a future update.

The left sidebar has been collapsable for a long time. You can enable this in your account settings under "Display Preferences"

It could, if you build a web front end. You will need to know how to program, or have someone who can program.

@letitviv1
1) This is intentional. It will not be possible to share a subtask with someone who is not also sharing the parent. Subtasks go with their parent.
2) This sounds like a bug. I was not able to reproduce it. Can you please create a support ticket and list the steps that you took to make this happen?

@rmanser
When the task is initially shared, it will look for a matching folder by name and use that if it is found, otherwise it will create a new folder for you. Once a task is shared jointly, all of the fields are shared. So if you change the folder, it will change it for everyone.

This is almost certainly because you have set it to be a repeating task, so Toodledo is rescheduling it for you automatically. You may have the "repeat" field hidden which would be why it isn't immediately obvious that it is repeating itself. You can turn this on in your account settings.

JCarl, I don't understand. You can search another workspace just like you can search your own. You can also search for joint tasks from within your account using our new shared task search option.

Unfortunately, this isn't possible, but it is on our to-do list. However, we can't comment on a timeframe for implementation.

Thanks

It is not currently possible to have the parent task automatically have the due-date of the most urgent subtask. This is on our to-do list to add in a future update.

I do know know what FV is, but on this website, to make new tasks go to the end, you can sort your list by "date added" in reverse. You can select this from the sort section in the blue toolbar above your list.
