Try crl+alt+*

I don't have a PC keyboard handy so I cant confirm that, but its some combination those meta keys near the spacebar. There are only a few combinations so if that doesn't work, experiment with the others.

The offline website will need to be opened while you are connected to the internet to sync its changes. This will happen automatically when you open the mobile website while connected. The offline data is stored in a database inside your web browser, so it is persistent. It can be deleted if you clear your cookies, so be careful about that.

If you create a support ticket and attach a screenshot there, I might be able to get an idea of what is going wrong. It might be a plugin issue.

Use the backup/restore. It was designed for backing up and restoring your account and includes lots more data. The XML export only exports task data and was designed to be for exchanging data with external applications.

I see that our page still says that the XML option is the best way to backup your data. I will get this fixed. I forgot to update this text when we added the backup/restore tool.

We had to make a choice, and we decided that it was more likely that someone would want to append the date and new data to the end of a note. If you want to insert it in the middle, you will need to cut and paste it, or use a 3rd party macro program like TextExpander to insert timestamps at the cursor location.

By popular request, it is now possible to sort tags alphabetically instead of by frequency of use. To enable this, go into your account settings and look under "Display Preferences". One thing to note, is that the tag list will still only display the 50 most frequently used tags. So if you use lots of tags, infrequently used tags may not appear in the list, the same as before.

We have also updated the way the tag picker works when editing a task. Clicking on a tag that already exists will remove it from the task instead of adding a duplicate. Also, duplicate tags will now automatically be de-duplicated upon saving.

In the Notebook section, when editing a notebook there is now a button that will insert the current date and time into the note, which can be useful for keeping track of additions to a notebook entry.

Yes, using a 3rd party app that syncs with Toodledo does not count as using our website. To maintain a website account you need to sign into the website at least once a year. If you are worried about this, you can create a yearly repeating task that reminds you to do this. We also send out multiple email reminders so that you have a chance to signin.

OpenID has not been very popular. There are only a few dozen people using it with Toodledo, so we have decided to not expend effort on upgrading it at this time. If its popularity picks up, we will adjust our priorities.

It sounds like your work VPN is blocking Toodledo for some reason. You will need to contact your IT department to unblock our website.
