This is enough for about 10 average length tags. If you need to add more than this, you will need to shorten their names. 99.9% of people do not come close to using the full 64 characters, so this limit was deemed acceptable and allows us to conserve space and optimize certain things on our website.

The iPhone app can't understand a dateless time. If you set a due-date when setting a due-time, or a start-date when setting a start-time, it will not do this.

A task can only repeat as quickly as once a day. If you need more frequent repetition, you will need to make several copies of the task at different times that each repeat daily.

Our suggestion has always been to give due-dates only to tasks that have hard due-dates. If the date is a "I wish I would do it by this date", it is probably better to omit the due-date and use some other method to prioritize it. Our other recommendation is to allow tasks to be overdue. There is no harm in having overdue tasks. In fact, it gives you an indicator of how much you have procrastinated which may help motivate you to do it quicker than you would if all the tasks were constantly due today.

It may not display all of the tasks, or it may display the wrong tasks in the wrong places. It may refuse to add a task, or make changes. We have take great precaution to make sure that your data will not get corrupted, so I wouldn't worry about that. Just be aware that it may not do what you want it to do at all times. We are making great strides towards fixing all the bugs and will have this released out of beta soon.
