I investigated it last week briefly and it wasn't a simple fix. There was a technical hurdle that we are still trying to overcome. It is still on our radar.

It sounds like you may have imported into Windows Live instead of setup a subscribed calendar. I am not familiar enough with Windows Live to know how to check, so I would suggest that you remove the Toodledo calendar and then resubscribe to it again and see if that helps. It could also be that Windows Live is not updating the subscription automatically, which would be a setting somewhere.

Its also possible that if you checked them off on a mobile device that didn't sync immediately, that the recorded date was delayed until it actually synced.

If you are starting and stopping multiple timers throughout the day, it might be a little clunky. My suggestion would be to put all the tasks into one list, using a common tag, or star and then you will have quicker access to starting and stopping the timers for those tasks as you switch between them. We will also try to think of a better way.

To run reports, try using our saved search tool to find the tasks you completed in the last week and then the timer and lengths will be totaled for you at the bottom of the list.

D/M/Y date format is not yet supported on the email importer. This is still on our to-do list. In the meantime, please send your dates using a different format. I recommend using natural language: "Feb 24"

I am guessing that you are using our calendar subscription service. This is a one-direction sync from Toodledo to your calendar. It is not possible to edit the data in the calendar and have it come back to Toodledo because of the way that these calendar services were designed (not by us).

Do you have the "Experimental Top-Fixed Scrolling" feature turned on in your account settings? If so, try doing a two-finger scroll on the iPad. This is one of the downsides to this experimental feature.

This only happens when the iPad is flat on its back. If you tilt it up slightly before editing a note, you will be able to scroll it all the way to the bottom. This bug will be fixed in the next update. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Quick add does not yet support the special syntax, although this is planned for a future update. Quick add was designed as a way to quickly add several tasks with the default values for the other fields. You can type and press enter to quickly make as many tasks as you need. If you want to specific the fields for a new task, press the "Add Task" button to the left of the quick add box instead.

You can use the status labels however seems most logical for you. They are just labels and don't have any extra meaning. Personally, I dont use the status field, so I may not be the best person to ask. I'll let someone else answer.

There is nothing special about the status labels. You can use them for whatever purpose seems appropriate for you. Most people who use Status will use "Next Action" to refer to tasks that are next on the list.

The only thing that matters is that the last 7 statuses are considered to be "deferred" which means that you can hide them with the "hide deferred status" filter.

Adding one more level, either as a subfolder or sub-sub-task would still introduce much of this complexity. Im not saying that we will never do it. It is on our to-do list. Im just trying to explain that it isnt as trivial as people seem to think. There are a whole bag full of usability issues that need to be resolved. And to be honest, I think our current 1-level of subtasks has some usability issues that we have not yet fully resolved.

The difficulty is not with the back end data structure, but with the front end UI. I'll give an example. Suppose you have 14 levels of subtasks and the sub-sub-sub-sub-sub task is due today. That task has its own multiple levels of sub-sub-sub-sub tasks. How do you display that task on the hotlist? Do you display it nested deep inside the 14 layer onion? This will show lots of unimportant tasks. Do you display it all by itself? This will cause you to lose context. Maybe you compromise and display its immediate parent only? Then what happens when you want to go up a level and view the parent's parent? I think you can see that interacting with the data gets really complicated when you have so much nested structure.
