The "Assignor" is the person who assigned it to you. If you are adding the task, then it will always be yourself, which is why there is no field for this when you add a task.

You will need to ask the company that makes that software that you are using.

multiple levels of subtasks is a very very complicated thing for us to add. It is on our to-do list, but please don't hold your breath.

If you are downloading every task, every time and looking for missing tasks, you are definitely doing it wrong and using too much network bandwidth. You should be able to sync with only transferring the changes.

To fetch only those tasks that have been deleted, use the "tasks/deleted.php" API call and pass in the timestamp from the last time you checked.

http://api.toodledo.com/2/tasks/index.php

If you find that you are downloading the same information over and over again, you should look into optimizing that.

It is intentional that step 4 gives you back the tasks you just added. This is because Toodledo does data validation and may change the task after you added. For example, stripping invalid characters, removing invalid dates or standardizing the spelling for the "repeat" field. If you update your local copy with what we sent, then you will insure that it is always accurate.

Unfortunately, this isn't possible, but it is on our to-do list. However, we can't comment on a timeframe for implementation.

Thanks

You probably just need to refresh the calendar. You may have it set to "manual" or with a longer interval like "8 hours".

We do not have popup alarms on this website, but this is something that we would like to add in the future.

I do not know why this is happening since the iPad and the Mac are using the exact same data source from our website to populate their calendar. The only thing that I can think of is that when you subscribed on your mac, you clicked the "remove to-do items" checkbox, which would have caused only tasks with due-dates to appear and all others to be removed.

Apple allows an alarm to have 2 buttons. One for canceling and another that launches the app. This button can be named anything, including "Snooze" but all it does is launch the app. The apps that support "snoozing" simply wait for the app to load and then present you with a button to snooze the alarm. Toodledo could do this, but we are more than just an alarm app. The most likely scenario for us is that someone wants to view the details of the task, not snooze the alarm, so we don't bombard people with a snooze window when launching the app.

But don't despair! Its really quite easy to "snooze" a Toodledo alarm. All you need to do is press the button on the alarm to view the task (same as you would if we named the button "snooze"). Then when the app launches, tap on the "Alarm" field and select a shorter duration.

Hope that helps

You would need to consult with the company that makes the Outlook sync tool that you are using.

It is not possible to repeat a task based on the number of weekdays. You can only use "days", "weeks", "months" or "years" as intervals.

Click on the "Show" button in the toolbar and select "subtasks indented" which will save your preference for that view.

There is no way to recover the previous version of a notebook that you edited unless you have your own backup.

http://www.toodledo.com/tools/connect_backup.php

You should be able to find the old completed task by searching for it, assuming you didn't delete it.
