"T" was never an intended shortcut for Today. That was just a happy accident. It could be mistaken for Tomorrow, so I dont think its a good idea to make this a formally intended shortcut. You can type "tod" or "tom" in the new layout.

First day of the month is easy to do. Give it a due-date of the 1st and set the repeat to be "every 1 month".
Last day of the month isn't currently possible because the months have different numbers of days. This is still on our to-do list.

Thanks for the suggestions. We do not comment on timeframes for implementation, but these are on our to-do list.
Thanks

It is not currently possible to change the priority names, but you can use tags instead of you want.
Also, under the new tasks design, the notes/trash icons are permanently moved to the left. There open in your account setting to move them to the left/right will only apply to the classic Tasks section. We did this for simplicity and because many people didnt realize that they could add notes to tasks because the note icon was off the right side of the page and they didn't scroll over there.

The tags are not shared between Lists and Tasks sections.

I dont see a problem with that. Maybe you could create a support ticket and attach a screenshot showing your entire search. That will allow us to see what the problem is.

Here is the link to where you can configure MYN mode. Its just some convenient shortcuts: http://toodledo.com/systems.php
For tasks already created, there isn't really an "edit mode". You just need to click on the thing you want to edit and then it will become editable. Its the same options that you have when creating the task. We don't have alarms on start-dates, but if you don't use the due-date field, you could use that instead and just pretend that is the start-date.

Your question is about a 3rd party tool that syncs with Toodledo. Please contact the company that makes that software for assistance.

When you click the magnifying glass, it opens the search and immediately puts the cursor in the search box so you can type your search. If the search box was always open, you would still have to click on the search box to put the cursor into it. So either way, its 1 click to start a search. With the search box hidden until you need it, we are able to show more tasks on the screen at once.
Also, having the "Search" and "Quick Add" text boxes open at the same time next to each other was causing confusion.
Thats why we did it that way.

If the URL says www.toodledo.com/tasks then this is the "classic" version. If you click the ! button at the bottom of that page you can preview our new tasks section which will have a URL of tasks.toodledo.com

We didnt write our own date interpretation software, so we have relied on 3rd party software to do this for us. The Android app uses different software than our Tasks section does. They handle the normal things the same. So you can type "March 3" or "Today" and it will be the same, but when you start straying from the normal words and start using relative dates like "7 days" one may work and the other may not. I do not know if either software library provides a complete list of the phrases they are capable of interpreting.
If you want to get technical and investigate, here is the library we use for both Android and the new Tasks section:
https://github.com/wanasit/chrono
Here is what we use for the current "classic" Tasks section:
http://php.net/manual/en/datetime.formats.relative.php
Instead of "start date - is before - 7 days" you could make this rule: "Start date - is in the next - 7 - days". And it would work the same everywhere.

The date pickers stays open so that you can also pick a time, or an alarm or change it to an optional date. If the date picker went away immediately after clicking a date, you may have to open it twice, which would be more annoying. If you want to make the date picker go away quicker, you can double click on a date, or click outside the picker.

Yes, the pricing was increased to $19.99 a few months ago to better reflect the value of a Toodledo subscription and to support our future development. This was the first time that we have raised prices in at least 5 years and we've added a lot since then, so we felt it was justified.
We forgot to update the price on that extra pricing page that you discovered. I'll update that now. Sorry for the confusion.

The problem has been solved. And it turns out that it was entirely our fault. We were attacking ourselves. How embarrassing.
Technical Details:
************************
When Toodledo was experiencing problems on the 18th and 22nd, we saw two things. First, we saw that our load balancer had a huge spike in the number of active connections to our servers. We're talking a 100x increase. This isnt something you can fix by just adding another server or two. The second thing we saw was on the web servers. It was a similar thing, where each server was hitting its max connections limit and then slowing down and dropping connections. This is what was causing people to get broken pages and SSL errors. Our natural first assumption was that our site was under some sort of external attack. This was the only thing that we could think of that would cause a 100x increase in connections. So we went down this path and implemented some tools to help us with this scenario. Which worked. Within an hour of deploying our tools, we were able restore the site to normal operation. And on the second occurrence, it was even faster.
Now that the immediate danger was taken care of, we started taking a look at the problem from different directions and noticed that all of the bad connections were to the same URL in the new tasks section. This seemed like an odd place for an attack, so we investigated. It turns out that the new tasks section had a bug that was causing a double infinite loop! When attempting to complete a repeating task with certain attributes, the server would get into an infinite loop processing that action and eventually timeout after a minute and return an error. The web browser would see this error and immediately retry the action, again and again and again. Double infinite loop all the way!
So essentially, many regular Toodledo users were making repeated connections to our website, each of which would tie up that connection for 30 seconds at a time. This was a pretty rare thing, so it had to build up over time to be a problem. And we have a bunch of extra capacity built into Toodledo, so it took about 4 days for enough users to experience the bug and for those stalled connections to build up to the tipping point where it caused trouble. At that point, there were so few connections left unused, that all the regular normal connections to the website would back up at the load balancer waiting for their turn. The bug was born on Monday of last week. 4 days later the symptoms appeared on the 18th. We reset everything and then 4 days later on the 22nd it happened again. But we have just deployed the real fix. No more bug. So it won't happen again on the 26th. And if it does, I'll eat my hat.
************************
On the plus side, we now have some really good tools to help us detect and circumvent an event where someone was attacking us. And we also made a bunch of small optimizations to make the site generally faster and more stable. So its not all bad. For those of you with a Platinum Subscription, we will be sending out credits in the next few days.
I am very sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused to anyone. I really want Toodledo to be a reliable website that people trust with their important tasks, and for about 4 hours this month we failed. Thanks for everyone's patience as we worked through this.

We have now deployed some better tools and have a better idea of what is going on. It shouldn't happen again, but if it does, it will be a much more brief event.
