Its kind of a new feature, and I understand that it might be distracting to see it there at the top of the screen, but it doesn't affect anything, so try to ignore it if it doesn't apply to you, until we figure out a better way to do this. We think of this like the "check engine" light on your car. Sure, you can ignore it for awhile, and you might be able to ignore it forever, but it does indicate that there is some underlying defect that needs to be understood. We only display the warning when the webpage has been modified from what we sent to your browser. Something modified it, and that may be ok, but we think that you show be aware of it.

But, I am very careful to make sure that my canned responses are relevant. If it isn't relevant then I type a custom response. If I said "Thanks for the suggestion. We can't comment on a timeframe for implementation, but this is on our to-do list." then this is the truth and there is nothing else for me to say.

It seems to be working ok for me on my copy of IE8. Can you please try a few things for me? 1) Try a different web browser as a test and see if that works or has the same problem. 2) Try restarting IE8 and try again 3) Try clicking on other views "Main" or "Folder" and see if those work.

It isn't really necessary to encrypt the blank login page as it is transmitted to you, but if you wish to do this, you can set a bookmark for https://www.toodledo.com/signin.php and always use that page to signin. 2) OpenID hasn't been very popular, so we haven't expended a lot of energy into this area, but it is still on our to-do list. 3) We tested extensively with IE8 and didn't encounter any issues with it closing and reopening tabs or crashing. Are there specific actions that you are taking to cause this to happen?

To add a subtask to a parent ask, go into the parent task, and click on the "Subtasks" row. Then the button will change to "Add subtask".
