Thanks for the suggestions. We can't comment on a timeframe for implementation, but these are on our to-do list.

No data is sent to the CDN. Not even cookies. Only generic images and code are downloaded from the CDN. Any personal data is sent directly from our server to your browser.

Noscript is a pretty non-standard way to use the internet. We design our website to function using a standard web browser. When you start installing plugins that hack Toodledo or modify the way that our website works, then we can no longer support that scenario. However, I am glad that you found a way to get it to work for you.

We were able to find one place where invalid XML characters were not being scrubbed out of notebook entries, so this has been fixed. That might take care of it going forwards.

Good point. We'll get this in at some point. We also want to allow written reviews.

Unfortunately, this isn't possible, but it is on our to-do list. However, we can't comment on a timeframe for implementation.

Thanks

Use the advanced repeating option and set the task for "every 60 days".

We have just finished migrating our CDN to Amazon's CloudFront service. In our tests, this will moderately decrease the time spent waiting for pages to load, especially over encrypted HTTPS connections, which were previously not CDN enabled.

A CDN is a network of computers spread out all over the globe that is optimized for delivering static content very quickly to your computer. We use our CDN to serve all of our images, style information and scripts. What this means, is that if you live in California and you access our webpage, your tasks will be sent from Virginia (where our servers are), but all the images and scripts will be sent from a CDN server close to you in California. This can greatly speed up page loads.

Previously, we had been using CacheFly.net, which was good, but they didn't support HTTPS connections, and recently some companies have been blocking their servers which was causing our website to appear broken to a small subset of customers.

Here is sample PHP code for making a task with a due-date and time:

$url = "http://api.toodledo.com/2/tasks/add.php";

$task[0]['title'] = 'I am due on April 20 at 4pm';
$task[0]['duedate'] = 1305907200;
$task[0]['duetime'] = 1305907200;

$json = json_encode($task);
$encoded = urlencode($json);
$params = "key=".$key."&tasks=".$encoded;
$response = curlPOST($url,$params);
$added = json_decode($response);

Yes, this was removed. We noticed that the vast majority of people were using the API to sync instead of run specific queries, so we optimized it for syncing. What you'll need to do is just download all the tasks and cache them in your application and then you'll be able to sort or select them however you want inside your app. Tasks are not returned in any particular order, so you should sort them inside your code as necessary.

Do you have the start-date field enabled on your iPhone? If the start-date field is not enabled, then that field will not be used to filter on.

It must be that the title of your folder is not exactly "work". Perhaps there is a capital letter or an extra letter. The name must match exactly for it to get processed correctly.

They do not notify you, but you can add a topic to your watch list and track it that way, manually.

You will need to use a secondary sort criteria to sort tasks within the same priority. Maybe you could use the due-date/time field.

When you add a task it will appear at the top and when you edit a task it will remain where it is. This is intentional, so you can re-edit the task again if you made a mistake, because if the task jumps away (potentially off the screen) it would be hard to make multiple edits to the same task. You can always refresh the screen whenever you want things to resort themselves.

GMT does not have DST, so if you specify all dates/times as GMT you only need to convert the unix timestamp to a human readable date/time at display time. At this point, you will need to apply the timezone and DST, but most SDKs will handle this for you so you won't have to worry about DST or timezones.

I just tried using the API to set a duedate with a GMT timestamp of (May 19, 11:10am) and when I looked on the website, I saw "May 19th" without a time, which is the expected value. Then I added another task with the same timestamp in the duetime field as well as the duedate field, and on Toodledo I saw "May 19th 11:10am", which is correct. So, I wasn't able to reproduce the problems that you are having. Maybe you aren't setting both the due-date and due-time fields?

If you need many levels of subtasks with task dependencies, then your needs are beyond what Toodledo can support right now. We will get there some day, but until then you'll either have to use some sort of compromise with Toodledo, or use a desktop project management tool that supports it. Something like Microsoft Project.
