Unfortunately, this 32 character limit is baked in pretty deep. It would be very difficult for us to change at this point.

Sorry, but we do not have a tutorial because there are too many ways to use Toodledo. It is a matter of personal preference. You'll just need to experiment to find the workflow that works best for you. For definitions and help on individual features you can consult our help section.

Thanks for the suggestion. We can't comment on a timeframe for implementation, but this is on our to-do list.

It is not possible to set an end date for a repeating task. You will just have to delete the task when you are done with it.

Alarms are supported on the iPod touch. If the alarms are set to come "from device" then all you need to do is create a due-date and alarm and it should trigger. If it doesnt, please create a support ticket and include details about your settings so that we can try to reproduce the problem.

The preciseness of all alarms is still dependent on the external implementations of where the alarm is going. We send the alarms at the appropriate time with a +/-2 minute accuracy. After that, it depends on your cellphone company. Cellphone carriers do not give any guarantee on the timely delivery of text messages. I have personally had text messages arrive hours after the person sent them. We cannot control what happens to the alarm after we hand it off to a 3rd party.

You need to set the due-date even for a repeating event, otherwise, the repeating event doesn't know when to repeat the task from.

As for the alarm settings, in Settings>Alarms, you can choose how you want your alarms to be triggered. The choices are No alarms, alarms are sent from the device, and alarms are sent from the website. Each option has its own tradeoffs and some options are not available on all platforms. But if you want alarms you will need to select an option other than "No alarms" in this section.

Ultimate ToDo List is a 3rd party app, so you'll need to consult their website for that.

You are referring to a 3rd party app. You might want to contact them for support, since we are unfamiliar with their app.

We will look into it. We have noticed this on IE7 sometimes and always chalked it up to IE7 being a terrible browser, because it never happens anywhere else. Now that it has been reported with IE9 (we haven't experienced it with IE8 or newer), we'll look into it and see if we can figure it out.

Thanks for the suggestion on colors. As for subfolders, we have something equivalent called subtasks. http://www.toodledo.com/info/subtasks.php

To have a alarm you need to set 2 things: Due-date and alarm. You may also set the due-time if you want the alarm to sound at a specific time.

This isn't possible with 1 click, but you can make a saved search that finds the records. You would then need to click the "multi-edit" link and make the edit.

Toodledo does not currently support "last day of the month", but this is on our to-do list. For now, you could have it be the first day of the month with a 1 day leadtime reminder. Or you could set it to a monthly repeating task on the 28th, which is as close as you can get to the last day of the month right now.
