We put the seconds there mainly so that people could see that it was counting. In the past, people have complained that they didn't know that a timer was going, and that they couldnt see the current time without reloading the page. Now, the timer is always accurate without reloading and its clear that it is counting.

We will think of a way to make the seconds an option.

Regarding Firefox editing, I could not reproduce this. I click in FF and I am able to select the current time and type in a new time. Some shortcuts that you may not be aware of, if you type "2h" it will save the new timer as 2 hours. You can also type "2h 15m" or "2:15" if you prefer.

Thanks for the suggestion. We do not comment on timeframes for implementation, but this is on our to-do list.

Thanks

Version 6.4.0 of our Android app is rolling on today and tomorrow. Here are the changes:

+ Adds Context and Tag filters to the show menu
+ Fixes a bug that caused the saved search menu to be blank for some people
+ Fixes some bugs with saved search, filters, external keyboards and timezones
+ Fixed copy/paste into task title
+ Keep the tray open to the section you are in
+ Allow syncing more than 1000 notebook entries
+ Fixed a bug with “Untitled task” appearing when it shouldn’t

If you don't see the update available now, it should become available in the next 24 hours.

Thanks for the screenshots. I'll look into it. Definitely not intentional. Can you please let us know if Safari does the same thing?

It should already be doing this. Can you please go back to the new task section, reload the page and try again?

In the old layout we had a shortcut in the top right corner of the column headings that took you to the appropriate settings page. We have removed this to declutter the page, but we may put it back if people have a hard time finding that place in the settings. We were operating under the assumption that people rarely change the fields that they are using so this didn't need to be a highly visible button on the new interface.

We are working to make this behavior consistent across the old and the new site. Some things you should know.

1) On the old design, if you have the start-time or due-time field enabled, then the calendar would not go away when you click a date. This was to allow you to also set a time.
2) On the old design, double click also worked to dismiss the calendar immediately.
3) In the new design, we keep the due-date calendar open when selecting a date so that you can also set an alarm if you want to. On the old design you had to open the popup twice if you wanted to set a date and an alarm.
4) Instead of waiting for 3 seconds, you can also click outside the popup to make it go away immediately. Or if you are using the keyboard, you can press return after typing in the new date.

Regarding the tag picker, I just tested this and it seemed to be the same behavior as before. The tag picker stays open as long as the mouse is inside it, so that you can click as many tags as you want. When you move the mouse outside it goes away after a short delay or if you click it goes away immediately.

This is a known bug. Advanced search shows all subtasks and doesnt apply the search rules to them. We will get it fixed.

The CSV file contains all of your notes in one file. You can import this into Excel easily, or any other program that supports CSV. Its a pretty standard file format.

The txt, rtf, html file that Apple is suggesting will only hold a single note each, so if you are going to import each note individually, it might be just as easy to copy and paste from Toodledo into Apple Notes and save yourself the export step. In any case, we don't support exporting a single note as a txt,rtf or html file. Sorry.

I am not familiar with the Evernote .enex file format.

There are a lot of technical reasons why this is difficult. The main one being that the iOS and Android and Web would need to be updated at the exact same time for this to work. This is difficult. Also, all of the 3rd party apps that sync with Toodledo would need to be given time to support this new repeat before it went into place. Its a difficult thing to coordinate, but we have made some progress towards making this possible.

Sorry, it isnt possible to do this yet. The best thing would be to bookmark the new section and train yourself to not click the logo. If you are clicking the logo to refresh your list, there is a better faster way. Just click the sidebar on the row that is already selected. This will refresh the list without reloading the entire page.

You can export in a variety of formats. Please choose the Export option from the account menu in the upper right corner.

You can also import in the same way, or via copy and paste, although the modification date will not be preserved. Sorry.

The dividers change depending on how you have your list sorted. If you dont want the due-date dividers, you can sort your list by a different criteria.

You could make the easter tasks optional with a duedate on easter. Once easter passes, all the optional tasks will be automatically completed if you havent done them

You can still use the keyboard, but it uses slightly different keys now. The 'n' key should also work. Please make sure your keyboard shortcuts are still turned on in your account settings, and then make sure you click on the Toodledo window so that it is the one listening to the keyboard.

Press "n", type a task name, tab, space bar (to start editing the context), first letter of context, enter, tab, space, first letter of location, enter, enter.

Adding the space bar to start editing a field does add some extra keys, but it was necessary to allow Toodledo to know the difference between you typing the first letter of a context (w for example) and you typing another keyboard shortcut (w also toggles the dividers)
