Unfortunately, this isn't possible, but it is on our to-do list. However, we do not comment on timeframes for implementation.
Thanks

A lot of people are reporting syncing problems with the new Tasks section. I think this is because people are doing side by side testing with the new design and the old design. This is not really normal behavior so we didn't optimize for it.
Let me explain. The new interface acts much like an app. This is what allows it to work offline and have better performance. It syncs every 5 minutes with the server to get new information. Thus, if you add a task somewhere else (like in the old design) and then quickly look at the new interface and even press "R" to refresh the list, it won't have that new data yet. If you wait 5 minutes it will get it, or you can refresh the entire page to get it right away.
It is not typical for someone to add a task in an app and then immediately look at the website to check that its there, so we didnt attempt to make this work. When you are using Toodledo under normal conditions, 5 minutes should be plenty fast enough to get tasks that were added outside of the browser window, but if you are testing the new design and flipping back and forth really quickly, you might encounter this 5 minute lag. We don't consider this a bug.

I was not able to reproduce this. Can you please take a screenshot and attach it to a support ticket so that we can see? This may give us a clue.

It sounds like a bug with the bubble chart. I'll look into it.

@appelcline: When you are marking a task as completed then refreshing the page, are you doing a full page refresh? Have you given the task time to save its change, or do you check it off and then immediately refresh the page within a second? Can you try allowing the task to save first (the grey bar will stop blinking) before you refresh the page and let us know if that makes a difference.

Just wanted to post an update that we have been reading everyones feedback and furiously fixing bugs. We appreciate all the feedback we have received. Here are the things we have fixed in the last 24 hours.
1) The Calendar should now properly show the task bubble in Firefox.
2) The Calendar filters should now work properly
3) Fixed a bug with Safari where the dates were displaying incorrectly
4) Fixed the attachments links to the notebook section
5) Fixed a syncing bug that was preventing changes made outside of the new task section from properly syncing into the new task section for people in timezones earlier than where Toodledo lives
6) Fixed a bug that prevented the next version of a repeating task from appearing in certain situations.
7) Fixed keyboard navigation in the Priority popup so you can type 0 or -1 to select those priorities
8) Made the Menus appear and disappear quicker, so it feels snappier.
9) Improved keyboard selection within popup menus so that when you type the first letter or first few letters of something inside the menu it will select it in a way that is more natural.
Please keep the feedback coming. Its the only way we can iron everything out.
Thanks!

Can you please explain exactly what feels slow when you check off a task? Does it take awhile for the checkmark to appear? Or is it something else?

R should still work, but if no changes have been made, you wont see anything happen because there is nothing to refresh. The quickest way to test this is to add a new task, which should be at the top. Then press R and it will refresh to the proper position, but if you press R again, nothing will happen because there is nothing that needs to be refreshed.

Right now you need an app to get alarms on your mobile device, but we would like to allow the website to set mobile alarms and we are looking into this.

I think I understand your scrolling issue. If your list has thousands of tasks on it, it takes a long time for the browser to draw all those tasks. One of the optimizations that we did was we only draw and display the tasks that are visible. All the ones that are below the scroll are not drawn. This makes the lists load very fast, even if they have thousands of tasks. I think the problem is that you are dragging the scrollbar very fast which causes the web browser to try to quickly draw and undraw many many tasks which may make it stutter or behave strangely. I will look into ways to improve this. One thing you might want to do is us folders, or tags or some other sorting method to allow you to look at shorter lists instead of looking at one long list that you have scroll through.

1a) The arrows keys now allow you to select a row (the blue line) and select a column (the grey highlight) for editing.
1b) It will take a little longer to load the initial page, but after that, it should be faster. Can you please explain exactly what feels slower?
2) I will fix the pageup/pagedown keys. This is a bug.
3) The old version didnt allow you to use the keyboard to select two folders that start with the same letter. With the new version, you can type as many letters as you want and it will highlight the matching folder. You can also use the arrow keys to change the selection. Press return to select and save the selection. So, you used to be able to type a single letter. Now you have to type the letter and then the return key, but the advantage is that you can now select folders that have the same first letter.
Hope that helps explain the difference.

Yes, this is something that we want to add in the future. Right now you can watch a topic and it will go into a special list that you can check when you come back to the forums. This way you don't have to remember to check each individual topic.

I can confirm that the tab key doesnt seem to work all the time. I will work on this. In the meantime try using the arrow keys instead to move from cell to cell. Then press the return key to edit it.
The way the typing works is that it tries to match what you are typing to one of the options. So if you are editing Status and you type "p" it will highlight "planning" because its the first word with a p in it. If you keep typing "po" then it will select "postponed" because its the only option with a "po" in it. If you typed "po" and then change your mind and want a different option, you can wait 2 seconds for it to reset and you can type again, or you can use the arrow keys to go up or down the menu to select the option you want.
You can still use the keyboard for everything. Its just that the exact sequence of keystrokes that you do is slightly different from the old design to the design so it may take a little getting used to.

1) If you have keyboard shortcuts enabled in your account settings you can press "R" to refresh the list. Otherwise another way to do this it to open the list menu in the blue toolbar above the list and select the same list that you are viewing. I will see if I can also make clicking on the same list in the sidebar do the same thing.
2) The popup calendar allows you to set the date, the time and the alarm. You may want to set the time and the alarm, and it would be annoying if you had to open that popup 3 times to set all three things, so we can't make it go away immediately when you click a date. However, if you want to do this, you can double click the date, and the popup will go away right away if you do that.
3) I have not encountered this scrolling problem. Can you please help me understand this better? What browser are you using? Would it be possible for you to attach a screenshot to this forum or a private support ticket?

You should still be able to tab and even use the arrow keys to move the highlighted cell to any cell that you want. Then press "return" or "space" to start editing it. Can you please explain which certain fields you aren't able to select?

The List section does not currently obey the "first day of the week" account preference. This is on our todo list to fix.
