No additional purchase necessary. 2) Until very recently, Apple did not allow local alerts, so it had to go through our server. With iOS 4, it is now possible to have local alerts, and we plan to support this in a future update.

You can hide them, which might be just as good. Click where it says "Hidden tasks" and then switch it so that completed tasks are hidden.

For now, flattened is how you need to view the list to see subtasks that are due soon.

Score: 0 Jake (Admin) Posted: Aug 22, 2010 Score: 0 You are correct, that you have to click once to enter edit mode and another time to do the actual edit. This is to prevent accidental edits. The reason the calendar doesn't go away immediately on clicking a date is because you might want to set the time as well as the date. If you want the calendar to go away immediately, you can double click a date.

Now you just need to create a reminder and it will be sent. To create a reminder, click the "remind me" checkbox on this website when editing the due-date. On the iPhone, you can set a reminder by picking a value in the "remind me" section when editing a task.

Toodledo is currently unable to process a file larger than 1MB when importing, but we have plans to improve this in the future. Sorry. For now, you'll have to do the split thing.

That would be the first thing to check. Then go into the Settings app and look under Notifications and make sure that Toodledo has "Sounds" turned on. If that doesn't help, try picking a different alert sound inside our app. The currently selected sound may be too quiet or brief for you to hear when the phone is in your pocket.

The logic behind this is that the task cannot be started yet, so it is unimportant until the start-date arrives.
