There is not a good way to track a repeating task that you did not complete and have no intention of completing. You obviously want to keep the uncompleted tasks in your history for reference, otherwise you could just complete or delete the tasks that you didn't do. Another option is to use the "status" fields "canceled" value, combined with the status filter to hide these uncompleted tasks.

When an optional task is automatically moved forward, it is not marked on the stats page either under due-date or completed. It's as if the task never existed.

Thanks for the suggestion. We can't comment on a timeframe for implementation, but this is on our to-do list.

There is probably some syntax error with your hand constructed XML file. If you attach it to a support ticket, we'll try to help you debug it.

Outlook syncing is done via a third-party tool. Please contact them for support.

I do not know of another solution. You might ask Google.

This is news to me. We aren't specifically filtering 2Do. We filter out all unknown HTML/XML from notes for security reasons. 2Do should not be adding html/xml to notes. I am surprised that they didn't test this before implementing this behavior because it wouldn't work.

If a third-party wants to store custom data in a task's note, they are welcome to do so, but they shouldn't use XML to do so. A simple workaround for 2Do would be to url_encode the xml before adding it to the note, and then url_decode it when retrieving it.

You should let 2Do know that they have a bug.

The status filter is on the iPhone. You probably just have the status field disabled. You can show the status field by modifying the "Fields & Defaults" settings page.

Have you checked to make sure that the filters on the iPad aren't hiding the subtasks? You may want to do a full resync as described here: http://www.toodledo.com/info/help.php?sel=76

We have been unable to replicate this. Can you please create a support ticket and attach a screenshot that shows where it is set to -1 Priority when adding a task.

Your browser must be corrupted or have a bad plugin or something because I just tested it and I wasn't able to make it crash.

Have you tried using a different browser temporarily?

For privacy reasons, it wouldn't be a good idea to send the email back to the address that sent it. Anyone could see your tasks if they knew your email address.

I would try the forwarding rule in your main email account.

Make sure that your timezone is set correctly on the website (in account settings) and on the iPad. Then try the steps listed here:

http://www.toodledo.com/info/help.php?sel=76

If that doesnt help, please open a support ticket.
