If tasks are showing up on the hotlist when they aren't due for several days, you might want to try using the "due after" modifier when editing the due-date.

To answer your questions, 1) The "Reassign to" drop down box will be populated with the names of people who have given you permission to add tasks to their account. If your collaborator's name isn't appearing there, then they have not given you permission yet. 2) You can search on a collaborators list, but it isn't yet possible to make a saved search for their list. You'll have to remake the search each time.

When you check off the task, the network indicator should go on within a few seconds. If you quit the app before it syncs, it will just wait until the next time you sync.

It is not currently possible to have a task appear on multiple people's lists. A task must have a single owner. You can assign a task to someone else, and you can view someone else's list, but a task can only live in once place. This is definitely something that we plan to change in a future update.

I just uploaded a new copy of the plugin, and it doesn't seem to have that problem anymore. Try reinstalling or upgrading it one more time and that should take care of it. Sorry.
