With this, you can have a single place where you can go to check on the topics that interest you the most. This is a good way to monitor a topic for replies. Toodledo does not currently send a notification when a topic on your watchlist is updated. This is planned for a future update. For now, you'll need to monitor the watchlist manually.

We have been looking into it, but have been unable to determine what we need to do to get Toodledo to work through a Proxy. If your proxy requires authentication, that might be causing the problem. We are stilling trying to figure this one out. It is complicated by the fact that we don't have a proxy to test on.

One is to have a single task on her birthday and set a reminder for 14 days ahead of time. Another way is to create two tasks. One for the birthday and another one 14 days in front that says "buy present for grandma". That prior task will appear on your list at the appropriate time and will stay there as "overdue" until you complete it. If you over analyze it, buying and sending a present is a multistep mini-project. If you break it down into it's actionable steps, you could create the following task/subtask grouping. Grandma's birthday [due on birthday, repeats yearly] +Buy Present [due 14 days prior, repeats with parent] +Buy Card [due 14 days prior, repeats with parent] +Send Present with card [due 10 days prior, repeats with parent] +Call Grandma [due on birthday, repeats with parent] That might be overkill

If you want to find subtasks whose parents don't match the search parameters, then you will need to use the "flattened" setting.

We made a small change to the API that should not have caused a backwards incompatibility, but apparently it did for some people. We have now fixed it, so it should work again without needing to update your addon. You may need to do a "Tools> Toodledo > Refresh Lists" menu command. Again, sorry for the embarrassing and inconvenient bug.
