You could look into using optional due-dates with a repeat value. If the due-date passes, it will be automatically moved forward by whatever interval you specify. I do this for certain tasks that I would like to do (like go to the gym) but which I sometimes skip. In fact, I often don't even check off "go to gym" even if I do it because I now it will automatically repeat for me at midnight.

And, if you hover your mouse over the subtask icon, it will tell you how many are inside.

The Notebook is not shared even with our collaboration tools (yet), so the only way for someone to read your notebook entries is to get your iPhone, or use your Toodledo.com password.

It might be because the sound is too soft to hear. We do plan to make better sounds in a future update.

In the "recently deleted" section it will list why the tasks were deleted. Does that give any clue as to what happened?

I have checked the server logs and the emails are being sent, so they are getting lost somewhere in the middle. Your ISP may be doing extra spam filter. I can see that you are using comcast. They are almost certainly doing spam filtering before it even shows up in your inbox. We've gotten other reports from comcast customers complaining about un-received emails too. We don't really know what is going on right now, since the emails are being sent.

If you have two iPhones syncing to the same Toodledo account, the iPhone that last launched Toodledo will be the one to get the push reminder.

We are not experiencing this stutter/jump. Can someone please try to explain exactly what is happening visually?

Thanks

If you are not getting the email reminder, then it is definitely not an Apple issue, but either

1) Not setting up reminders correctly
2) Toodledo bug.

Please double check that the task you want the reminder for has a due-date, due-time and has the "remind me" checkbox checked. Also check that your timezone is set correctly in your account settings.

There is something else going on here. I'm still not sure I understand why this is happening, but I'll explain how Apple's technology works. When we want to send a reminder, we connect to Apple's servers and send the message. It is Apple's responsibility to then send the message to your iPhone. If Apple is unable to get the message to your phone, Apple comes back and tells us "Hey, that phone doesn't exist, or they have uninstalled your app, so stop sending reminders to that phone." When we receive that warning, we remove your iPhone from being able to get reminders (as per Apple's requirements).

The next time you launch Toodledo on your iPhone, it re-registers with us and re-enables push notifications until we get that warning again from Apple. So, it appears like you are re-registering and then un-registering over and over again.

I don't know why Apple is sending us the removal request for your phone. It sounds like an Apple bug. It is only supposed to happen if you uninstall the app or if you cancel your cellphone service. It also happens for Jailbroken phones or phones that have been unlocked to run on a different carrier, because Apple is doesn't like you to do that.

My first guess was spam filters since it was working for me and Anders, but since you said that you checked your spam filters, I'm not sure what the problem is. I'll log a bug and look into it.
