What is triggering the task to be added?

Im not sure I fully understand the question, but the Android app does allow you to sort on 3 different fields at the same time.

For example if you choose "Priority Descending" for the 1st sort, your tasks will be sorted from "Top Priority" down to "Low Priority". For those tasks that have the same priority, they will be sorted by the 2nd field, which you can pick to be whatever you want, for example "Due-Date Ascending", to see the most urgent tasks at the top.

This is on our to-do list. In the meantime, we recommend that people use the "tag" field which you can search on. I realize this is not the ideal replacement. We do plan to add folders.

It sounds like maybe this could live within the "Attachments" popup. Instead of attaching an Outline to a task (how we recommend that people do sub-subtasks), you could attach some tasks instead. I'll think about this.

The "exists" and "doesn't exist" rules are there for all dates, but really only apply to the due, start, completed dates since the added/modified dates always exist.

When a task is first created its modification date is the same as its added date. A task cannot have a blank modification date.

This is a browser setting that unfortunately Toodledo has no control over. If you don't use the browser based notifications you can turn this off in the "Alarms/Reminders" setup page. If you want the browser based alarms, there might be a way to make the browser remember your preference. In Chrome, try clicking on the icon to the left of the URL and you should see a "Permissions" section. You can find the Notifications line and select "Always allow". I just did this and refreshed the page and cleared the cache and refreshed the page again and it seemed to stick. I can't say that it will stick forever, but maybe it will.

Firefox is handled in the same way.

Do you need to keep track of the time you spend on your projects and use it to make a timesheet? It's now possible to do this with Toggl. Toggl is a simple online timer with a powerful timesheet calculator. It integrates with Toodledo so you can manage your tasks and time in one place.

If you have the "Email Import" feature turned on, its possible that a spammer has found your secret Toodledo email address and the emails being sent to it are being turned into tasks. You can disable this feature, or change your secret Toodledo email address if you need to. If thats not it, please create a support ticket so we can determine where the task is coming from.

If you have previously had a subscription and set customized alarm times, but no longer have a subscription, all those customized alarm times will still be honored until you edit the task's alarm value. So, if you had set it to alert you 1min before the event, it will still do that, but you won't be able to change that alarm time to anything other than 1hr. To do this, click the checkbox to remove the alarm. Then click the checkbox again to add the alarm back at the 1hr interval.

Or, you could renew your subscription and then you'll have all the alarm times available to you :)

When you make a change on Toodledo, that change is immediately available via the ICS URL. Its up to the Calendar you are using to determine how often it wants to sync those changes. Google is known to take 24+ hours to sync changes, but other calendars may have different settings. I know that Apple's iCal app can be configured to sync at different intervals, such as 30 mins.

Try setting a start date of tomorrow. This should make tomorrows repeating tasks disappear from the hotlist.
