Google Calendar has some long standing problems with iCal feeds. They are known to only update the feed every 24hours or less frequently in some cases.

iCal is pretty flakey and it's only one-way.

We know that a lot of people use Google Calendar, so we are trying to find a better way to integrate with it in the future.

If you want to use start date, you'll need to go into your account settings and enable it (look under 'fields used'). To hide future tasks, you can use the start date in combination with the "hide future tasks" filter, or you could use due-dates with the modifiers. More info about that is here:

Hi David,

To use tags, you need to go into your account settings and under "Fields used" put a checkmark next to the tag field. You may also want to enable the "repeat" field as well because this will allow you to make tasks that repeat from day to day and carry over notes and other details. However, if you just want to repeating something once, it's probably quicker to just edit the due-date instead of completing the task.

Yeah, that is a known issue. We have been having a hard time resolving that. We are still working on that.

Error 1003 means that the iPhone can't authenticate with the website properly. So, my only other suggestion is to go into the Sync settings section in our iPhone app and retype your email/password information to match what is on our website. Make sure that you use proper capitalization and then click the save button again. Hopefully that will work.

Since it works for you at home, but not at work, I'm guessing that this probably won't work, but I'm out of ideas. There must be something strange with your work environment. Maye you have a corporate firewall that is blocking access or something.

When you say that they aren't showing up, what do you mean. Are the tasks there with a blank context, or is the context field missing? If the field is missing, you can go into the settings in the iPhone app and enable the field.

You need to type the name of the context exactly. If your context is named "@work" then you need to type "@@work" since the second @ is part of your context's name. This has been the stumbling block for a few people.

Im pretty sure that you are typing your info into the wrong place. It sounds like you are trying to add Toodledo as another email account. Toodledo isn't an email account.

What you need to do is download Toodledo from the iTunes App Store. Then, from within this application, you go to the settings section and type your info in the Synchronization page.

Hope that helps

Tasks that you own (you created for yourself or other people assigned to you) will be available on the website and on the iPhone.

What I meant, was that the iPhone is not able to see other people's lists, and the iPhone cannot assign or reassign your tasks to other people. The iPhone is only a window into your tasks. To access your collaborator's tasks you'll need to use the website.

We hope to add more sharing capabilities to the iPhone in the future.

A task can have certainly have a note. Just look over on the right side of the list and you will see little note icons on each task. Just click the icon to read or add/edit a note.

You are a pretty special case, and I don't think there is much we can do to get the iphone app to work with so many tasks, but we hope to look into this soon and see if there is anything that we can tweak.

I'm not sure, you should ask the developer of the Outlook sync tool.

It is our policy to not comment on expected dates for features. Manual sorting is a complex feature that impacts almost every aspect of Toodledo and changes the UI for how things are organized. We are still trying to figure out how to implement it in a simple and elegant way.

It sounds like Toodledo on the iPhone can't make an internet connection. Are you able to use Safari on your iPhone at work? I assume so. Try this. Open a web page in Safari on the iPhone, and then switch quickly to Toodledo and try a sync. What this does, is take's advantage of the already open internet connection. If this works, then it will help us isolate the bug.

Thanks

When you import a file, it will import everything in that file, so if you don't want the appointments to show up, you'll need to make sure that appointments don't get exported to your iCal file. I don't know which calendar application you are using, but this should be possible.

If you click on "Filters" and then "Nest subtasks" it will remember that setting the next time you come back to that view.
