Sounds like a perfect use for the "tag" field. If the tag field is not enabled on your account, you can change this in your account settings.

Remembering your previous sort selection is something that is on our todo list.

Thanks

I would suggest contacting the developers of the ToDo application. They can be reached at http://www.appigo.com

Hope that helps.

Yes, any time you update or retrieve information, that is a synchronization, although this is really just a word that describes what you as a developer would do to keep your database in sync with our database. Toodledo's API doesn't really know when things are synchronized or not. That is for your app to determine.

Oh, and to find the newly created (rescheduled task), you can just do a search for newly added tasks with the same name.

Our iPhone/Gadget mini-website http://www.toodledo.com/slim has been upgraded. It now has a "Status" view and an "All Tasks" view (by popular request). Also, you can now sort the hotlist and delete tasks.

We intend to keep the slim version updated and in sync with our main feature set. Also, please feel free to let the developers of the ToDo app know about features that you want added.

A small addition has been made to the API.

The API was requiring developers to reschedule repeating tasks manually. For backwards compatibility this is still the default, but there is a new parameter that you can send to have Toodledo automatically reschedule repeating tasks for you.

In the editTask call, when you are completing (or uncompleting) a task, you can pass the new "reschedule=1" parameter and Toodledo will handle all the rescheduling for you.

Oh, I think I found where the problem was. It should be fixed now. Tasks with a start date of tomorrow will no longer be on the hotlist, as it should be.

Because a third-party application may want to treat repeating tasks differently from how we treat them, the third party applications are responsible for rescheduling repeating tasks themselves. We may make this an option in a future version of our API.

While Toodledo.com fully supports repeating tasks, the To Do application for the iPhone does not. If you want this feature, I encourage you to contact the developers of that application. They can be found here: http://www.appigo.com/

Yes, it should be doing that. A daily repeating task completed today will get rescheduled for tomorrow.

Is that not working for you?

It sounds like you have the "show future tasks" filter turned on. You can turn it off by clicking on the "filters" link in the toolbar at the top of the page.

Hope that helps.
