Sorry, there isn't a way to set a default due-date or start-date.

I am sure that people will be interested in your python script that uses our API to print tasks more efficiently. Feel free to post it in our developers forum.

If you use one of our WAP, WAP 2.0 or Simple HTML versions of Toodledo to access your list from your mobile phone, there was a bug that prevented you from marking tasks as completed in certain rare situations. This has been fixed.

Without a due-date or a start-date, Toodledo has no way of knowing when a task is due and whether or not we should hide it.

My suggestion is to turn on the extra fields, set all your due-dates and/or start-dates, and then hide the fields again. The info you typed in will be saved in the background and used to hide tasks that you have already completed today.

We are a small company so we cannot afford to purchase and maintain contracts with every type of phone browser out there. We happen to have iPhones, so this is why we focused on making an iPhone app.

However, we recently became aware that there is a blackberry simulator that we can run on our computers, thus removing the expense burden. If the simulator works well, we will be making a blackberry compatible webpage for Toodledo.

Same goes for Windows Mobile 6. We found a simulator for that too.

My suggestion would be to use the "star" that was designed for this purpose. You could also set a due-date and use the "today" tab.

Hope that helps

We are looking into making secure connections be a configurable option in your account settings so you don't have to keep updating the url.

Thanks for the suggestion. "Show Notes" has actually been around for awhile and we are considering ways to make a "Show subtasks" link as well.

Thanks

Thanks Qrystal!

Not having timelines also allows us to be more agile because we can put something on the backburner if something else more important comes up (a bug, for example).

The developer's API has been updated to support reading, adding and editing tasks using the advanced repeating options. Also, the documentation for the API has been expanded.

If the timer is currently on, the "onfor" value will be a unix timestamp indicating when the timer was last started. The timer value (600 in your example) indicates the number of seconds that the timer has counted prior to the most recent start. So, to get the running total you need to add the two. Like:

Total elapsed time so far = timer+(now-onfor)

Thanks for pointing this out. We will update the documentation to make this more clear.

It is our policy to not post timelines or ETAs, but offline access is a high priority for us so it will be sooner rather than later.

There is an Outlook sync tool that someone made, which you can use right now to get offline access. It is available in these forums if you are interested.
