Jake Toodledo Admin	Posted Jan 09, 2016 in: Confusion about Subtasks and Importance Levels Score: 0 Jake (Admin) Posted: Jan 09, 2016 Score: 0 This is due to an old quirk in how we display subtasks in the "indented" mode. We plan to fix this in the near future. The way it works is that Toodledo loads whatever list you are viewing in the "inline" mode, so all the parents and subtasks are in their proper locations in whatever importance category they should be in. Then if you have the "indented" option selected it will go down the list from top to bottom and do the following: 1) If it finds a parent task it will remove all of it's visible subtasks that are on the page and put them under the parent along with any subtasks that were not on the page. 2) If it finds a subtask, it will remove it and replace it with it's parent (whether its visible on the page or not) and then remove all of the other subtasks from the page and place them (and the hidden ones as well) under this parent. If it finds the parent first, then everything will be in the importance section of that parent. If it finds the subtask first, then everything will be in the importance section of that subtask, making the parent be in the wrong place. So, in your case, you probably have a subtask that is more important than it's parent, and has a different folder than it's parent, so that when you view the folder, it will be loaded via #1 and when you view the hotlist it is loaded via #2. We have plans to make this consistent in the future.

This is something that is on our to-do list for a future update.

You could give them similar names to get them to be near each other, like "Health - Exercise" and "Health - Eat Fruits"

Jake Toodledo Admin	Posted Jan 09, 2016 in: Mac OS X El Capitan support Score: 0 Jake (Admin) Posted: Jan 09, 2016 Score: 0 The problem is with m.toodledo.com (which is what is used inside the Mac app) and the latest version of Safari (which is installed with El Capitan and iOS 9). Its a fundamental problem that requires us to do major work to m.toodledo.com. Instead of doing that, we are going to replace m.toodledo.com with www.toodledo.com once we are finished with our redesign that allows the main site to work at any size. We are nearly there.

You may have a setting in your browser that is doing this. I think it is probably because tasks and notes share a subdomain (www.toodledo.com) whereas the other products have their own (habits.toodledo.com, outlines.toodledo.com, lists.toodledo.com). So your browser maybe be making the new tab because it thinks its a new site, but we dont control that/

Otherwise it will show up as an all-day event. Toodledo always guesses that it is a 1 hour event. So for your event, it set it as 2pm-3pm. If you prefer it to be 3pm-4pm then you will need to set the start-time instead of the due-time.

Score: 0 Jake (Admin) Posted: Jan 06, 2016 Score: 0 No, there isn't a setting like this, but you can make a saved search with the rule "timer is more than 0" which will show all of your tasks with timers and then you can scan down the list to find those that are running.

All syncing is managed inside the apps.
