Good findings, Look very nice,
I really like those with location integration, I haven't tried it but I'd rate it at 1.75x the toodledo app on visual, intuitive UI and ... usability (so well worth the 5$) This message was edited Apr 05, 2010. |

I agree with everything said, I'm on the verve of insanity with this STALL, Even after 5 month of using Tood... I still don't grasp ~30% of it and can't find a way to use it seamlessly.
The UI usability/intuitiveness give the same impression as going to a Reputed brand website and seeing a Mammoth sized TYPO in their Logo. There is no way I can believe the average Joe customer is going to learn to use that ! and,,, be happy long enough with it to pay 15$. Also the product having functionality being somewhat more attractive to professional, that definitely would pay more than ~1$/ month for CORE management system. Score: 4
I'd like a way to enter my task into gCal and have them imported to toodledo,
As a PRO subscriber I request this "iCal Tasks Import" upload button to accept a Google iCal URL. And an automatic or semi/automatic way to update gCal tasks into Toodledo. As Google does with your's Note : The Toodledo calendar is 99.9% useless comparing to google's one. |

in your google calendar click "Add" on the left "Other Calendar"
choose add by url, and enter the iCal url provided here http://www.toodledo.com/connect_ical.php and say hello to you husband. ;) This message was edited Apr 01, 2010. |

I think that would be a good name for something that would simply catch .ics ical/outlook event file and import them into toodledo.
I get onto these files very often , Webinar and others use that a lot. Think winamp agent, adobe laucher,,,ect , something very quiet. I also really like the firefox plugin function that allow me to select text to add as task (sort of) Might be more a job for Toodledo than 3rd party dev |

It's hard to complain on the speed of development when you don't know
1. the number of people involved in house 2. the # of paid user (hiring potential) 3. The size/time-frame of what's currently being worked on. (just be patient) Thanks for the suggestion,,, Your through reply make me happier, ;) |

I am simply exasperated but how long it take to fix simple things. I am just waiting for some minimal sign of development to add a few more years of subscription. Part of the UI is so awkward to use, documentation is poor, and updates so scarce. Also there's very little transparency from the company. We are dozens willing to do anything to help, like translating the whole thing in many languages for free, doing greacemonkey script, UI redesign, helping newcomers on the forum Ect. but yet all we seams to get is canned reply from the Admin, Thanks for the suggestion. We can't comment on a time-frame for implementation, but this is on our to-do list. We're investing our time and future learning to work around an half baked product. I think we deserve better, whatever the price. You have a good product but better shake-up as there will be strong competition in the Google marketplace. http://www.google.com/enterprise/marketplace/home This message was edited Mar 25, 2010. |
