I think maybe you have added an extra column to your list, which has caused it to get wider. If you did this intentionally, you can adjust the widths of the columns to get them to fit again.
http://www.toodledo.com/info/help.php#62
If this was accidental, you can go into your account settings and turn off the unused field/column. It's also possible that you have changed the list to sort by either date added, date modified or date completed. When you sort by these 3 things, an extra magic column is added to show that data. You can change your sort to something else and that magic column will disappear.

If you have clicked the "New Search" button to start doing a new advanced search and you change your mind and dont want to do that anymore, you can click one of your existing saved searches to make it go away. We'll fix the cancel button

This is the last in our 5 part series of redesign changes that we have made to the Tasks section (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4). This doesn't mean that we are finished, just that we have reached the end of this particular phase. Please read on for a list of what has changed in this release.
Search Updated
We have cleaned up and streamlined the search functionality for the Tasks section. The "Quick Search" tool is still on the right side of the page, like before, only it has moved up about an inch to live at the top of the page. We've turned into a button and renamed it "Simple Search". To perform a "Simple Search" of the tasks on the screen, click the new button. The cursor is automatically placed into the revealed search box, so it's still a one-click action. If you have keyboard shortcuts enabled, you can still press the "F" key to enable this tool (F for find). The new "Simple Search" bar now has a link taking you straight to the Advanced Search page if you need to do a more serious search of your tasks.
On the Advanced Search page, it's now easier to save, modify and delete saved searches. One improvement that we think will be popular is the ability to quickly save changes to an existing saved search. Now, when you modify a saved search, there is one button to save those changes to make them permanent. There is another button that will save the changes as a new saved search if you prefer the old behavior.
Batch Edit Everywhere
We have renamed "Multi-Edit' to "Batch Edit" and made it available everywhere (it used to be available only in the Advanced Search section). With this upgraded tool, you can now Batch Edit the tasks in any list that you are viewing. For example, you could go to your "overdue" list and quickly move all the tasks forward to tomorrow. We have also cleaned up the interface for this, so its easier to use and takes up less space on the screen.
Quick Add
We have moved the "Quick Add" tool and restyled in, but its functionality is currently the same as before. We have some big plans for this "Quick Add" tool. In the near future we'll be updating this tool with power users in mind. You'll soon be able to use special commands to quickly add a task with more than just a title. This will be similar to the way you can fill a task's details when emailing a task into Toodledo, only much better.
Conclusion
We knew that this entire redesign (all 5 steps) would change a lot of things and that if we did it all at once, it would have been disruptive. This is why we broke it up into phases. Now that it's complete, you can see how far we have come with these before and after shots.
As you can see, we have greatly streamlined the interface, improved our use of color, better organized the various functions and updated our whole look to be more modern and approachable. We have also made it so more of your tasks fit on the screen at once. Our goal was to make Toodledo look better and be easier to use, and we think that we have achieved that. We understand that these changes (as with any change) may require some relearning of behaviors, but we are confident that everyone will adapt to the new locations of things and using Toodledo will be more enjoyable and productive.
Now that we have gotten the structural changes mostly completed, we are going to turn our attention towards upgrading individual elements of the Tasks section. We already mentioned the upcoming improvements to the Quick Add box, but we also have plans to overhaul all the popups that appear when editing tasks to make them more powerful and easier to use.
We really want to know what you think. Please let us know here or in a support ticket if you have any constructive feedback.

The vast majority of task apps dont even have attachments, so we're already a leg up :) Making an in-browser viewer for every type of file (image, video, spreadsheet, mp3, etc) is a lot of work and it would be inferior to the dedicated applications on your computer that are designed to view those files. We do see the benefit to having a basic viewer for images and text files, so we may do this in the future.

If the column header names are getting cut off on the bottom (like the y in Priority), then it likely means that you have set the default font size in your browser to be one or two sizes higher than the default size. We try really hard to get Toodledo to look right at a variety of font sizes, but when it goes too far in either direction, it isn't possible for us to make everything continue to look correct. One thing you may try is to enable "page zooming" instead of "text zooming". This will make the entire page bigger instead of just the text and will keep everything the correct proportions. Depending on which web browser you are using, this may be called something else.
As for the headers getting scrolled away, if your window is tall enough (at least 600pixels), the headers will stick to the top so they will always be visible.

The status field was added to help people who follow the GTD methodology. In GTD, the "Next Action" list is the most important list. When you finish your current task, your next task will come from the "Next Action" list. This is why we put it at the top. "Active", in this methodology is all the other tasks that can be done and are not blocked by something else.

Currently the sidebar can show the first 18 characters of a folder name and then you need to hover over it to see the rest. We may consider allowing more characters in the future. In the meantime, I recommend trying to shorten your folder names if possible, if you want to see the full name in the sidebar.

Toodledo only stores the files for you. When you want to view the file you need to download it to your computer and open the file in an appropriate viewing app for that file.

Yes, you can only see the next occurrence, not the occurrence 4 months from now. If this is something that you need, I suggest that you use a calendar app in conjunction with Toodledo.

Did you set that habit to be a once a week habit? If so, each link in the chain will represent a week instead of a day.

Try launching the app on the phone and then open the Apple Watch to get them open at the same time.

We don't have instructions right now, and it does take a little setup, but it shouldn't be too time consuming. Click the "Edit Columns" button and then you can add new columns and edit existing columns in that one window. Once you have your list setup, you probably wont need to edit the columns again.

You probably have a filter hiding some of them. Do you see a number on the "Filter" button at the top of the list?
