WHEN CAN WE CREATE CUSTOMIZED LISTS OF TASKS, OR USE OUR SAVED SEARCHES FROM THE WEB SITE?
The Android app is pretty much useless to me since I work on To Do's by Start Date. On the desktop app, I've created a Saved Search for each day for today, and each of ~15 days in the future, (plus overdue in case I forget to move a To Do forward). This works great on the desktop and on Ultimate To Do list, that allows me to mirror those Saved Searches with My Lists. Do you have a date to create and save our own Searches, or import ours from the web site? Thanks! |

Saved searches is definitely something that is planned, but I do not have an ETA at this time. Sorry

HABITS - when will app reflect new features of periodic habits?
HABITS - when will habits have ability to manual sync? There are no settings/dots on the RHS of the top bar in habits, as there is in tasks HABITS - per my support ticket - REALLY need the 'local' date issue fixed for us ahead of the US. Still showing today as 'yesterday' in US time, not AEDT. THANKS... I want to rely on this app sooo much. It needs to mirror the web more closely (please). |

Hopefully very soon

Just a tad confused here.
Android app updated today. Heart gave a extra little bump when I saw it happening. "Holy Dogs on Fire", I thought. "Jake has done the deed and landed Lists on Android". "Glory be, there is a God!" So sure enough, the page on the Play Store says "Added Lists section" in the 'What's New' section .... but .... a scroll down, and I see "Last Updated on 12 May 2015". Oh bugger! Leaves me scanning the Forum here for Jake's breaking news and the popping of champagne corks .... Boo-hoo! Nothing! But then, I'm running the Beta version. Doh! But, .... am I? Or am I just wishing too hard? So, questions: How do I check I'm still running the Android Beta app? And why - oh sweet jesus - am I seeing an update today with no news here, with "Added Lists section" in the 'What's New' section, while it's marked as "Last Updated on 12 May 2015". Please tell me or shoot me now. PS. I think y'all wonderful. |

We released a new beta of our Android app yesterday that contains some fixes for Lists as well as Habits and Outlines. This is available for all beta testers right now. Hopefully this will be our last beta before release next week if all goes well in testing.

This looks like a great update. Thank you.
I'm sure it's on your To-Do list, but just wanted to express my enthusiasm for Saved Searches on Android. This is the main reason I'm holding off upgrading my old iPhone. I want to move to Android like a lot of people, but Saved Searches are a big (and appreciated!) part of my workflow. |

Just installed the update, and the bug is still there. Why do you put in new features and ignore the bugs you created?
Posted by Paul: It's been three months, and this problem is still there. Will this get fixed?
Posted by Paul: When I click an item to complete it and then sync, it scrolls down to wherever that item now is. Very annoying! I scroll to the top, go to another app, come back, and it's once again on that item I just completed! I once again must scroll to the top to see todays items. The only way I've found to keep it at the top of the list is to tap on an item at the top of the list, back out of it, and then it won't scroll down. The app wasn't doing this before the latest update. Please fix!! |

I have installed the Ultimate To Do List on my phone, and it works like your app used to. I have uninstalled Toodledo. Goodbye.

Love love love the Android app. One thing I would like to see in it - in the web app, I use both start and due dates and start and due times; I sort by due date, and it takes the due time into account, and lays everything out in order, helping me to block time so that I don't think I'm going to be doing the dishes at the same time I'm taking a major meeting.
The Android app only partially mirrors this sorting, and consequently is less than fully useful for knowing not just what's due today, but what time or in what order things are due today. Hopefully this will be incorporated in a future release? |

First, all the changes are great and I really like the in-place editing, and being able to scroll in a long Task Note right to where I need to edit.
FUTURE-DATE-SPECIFIC SCREENS OR SEARCHES: As I'm sure many do, I need to plan and change Tasks on future specific dates, but don't see how to do that. On the main menu, Tasks has Main and the other Fields I have set, except Date (Start in my case). Is there a way to see Tasks by Date? Thanks. |
Jake Toodledo Founder |
There are two ways to see Tasks by date.
1) Go into the "Due-Date" view by selecting this from the side menu. Then you can switch between options like 'overdue', 'Next 7 days', 'Today', etc. 2) Go into any list and sort it by "due-date". This will put dividers into the list to separate tasks by due-date. You can sort from the action menu. |

Also, the grouping of 7 Days after Tomorrow is pretty worthless. I (and I'm sure others) need to see Tasks on SPECIFIC dates in the future, not grouped together in an unworkable manner. As it works now, it requires me to move from ToodleDo to Ultimate-ToDo-List any time I want to look at Tasks on specific future dates on Android. Thanks for your time on this. Can't see attachments in the android app. Is that feature available?

Jake Toodledo Founder |
Attachments are currently only available on the website, but they are planned for the apps in the future.

@c5000nc
You should be able to show Start Date in the task list. Go into Settings > Meta Information & then you can choose what fields are shown in the list. I think you can get the views you want by showing Start Date via Meta, then choose an All Tasks view & sort first by Start Date. That should give you dividers by Start Date, too. Let me know if this helps or at least gets you close. If it doesn't get you all the way there, I might be able to come up with other ideas. |

I've just changed all my Start dates to Due Dates, since I don't use both, to see it that way. The Android app is still not nearly as useful as it could be since we can't customize what we see with Savable Searches like the web based version. But, I understand they are working on that. |
