Help / FAQ
If you have an upcoming task that you would like to postpone or delay, the easiest way to handle this is to edit the due-date and pick a new value. This can be accomplished with a few quick clicks.
If you have an overdue task that you would like to roll over to today you can do this in the same way. Click on the overdue date and then click on the "Today" quick link.
If you have many tasks that you need to move forward in the exact same way, you could use our Multi-Edit Tool to accomplish this.
Do you frequently need to roll over a bunch of overdue tasks to today? If so, there may be a better way. You may be using due-dates for tasks that shouldn't really have a due-date. We recommend only using due-dates for tasks that must be done on a certain date (example: doctor's appointment). If you have a task for which the due-date isn't really that important as long as it gets done soon (example: change your car's oil), try giving it a start-date instead and leaving the due-date blank. You can also prioritize tasks using the Star, Priority, Status or other methods. This will eliminate the need to constantly roll tasks forward day to day to day.
