What is the difference between deleting and archiving a folder?
Folders that you no longer use can be archived or deleted. If you delete a folder, it will be completely removed from your account. Any tasks in this folder (including completed tasks from the past) will become folderless.
Folders that you no longer use can be archived or deleted. If you delete a folder, it will be completely removed from your account. Any tasks in this folder (including completed tasks from the past) will become folderless.
If you archive a folder, it will still be available under "history" and "search", but it will be hidden the rest of the time.
If you archive a folder that has active tasks, the tasks will still be visible. Archiving is designed for folders that are no longer needed for active tasks, but which you want to retain for viewing completed tasks. Archiving was not designed for temporarily hiding folders or tasks. To temporarily hide tasks, you need to use a deferred status or negative priority combined with a filter.
