How do due dates work?
If a task is due on a specific date, you can specify that date on your list and Toodledo will remind you about it before it happens. You can be reminded in a variety of ways (hotlist, email, SMS, etc) In your account settings you can specify how far in advance of a due date you want to be reminded about it.

If a task is due on a specific date, you can specify that date on your list and Toodledo will remind you about it before it happens. You can be reminded in a variety of ways (hotlist, email, SMS, etc) In your account settings you can specify how far in advance of a due date you want to be reminded about it.
Sometimes a task can only be completed on (or after) a specific date (like a dentist appointment) and being reminded about it ahead of time is unnecessary. Toodledo has some advanced duedate modifiers (>, = and ?) that can be used to indicate these types of dates.
Toodledo understands many different English phrases that represent dates, so if you want to enter a duedate as "tomorrow" or "next thursday", it will know what you mean. Here some additional ways to enter a due-date:
