Hello all,
We are pleased to announce that we’ve released a beta version of our upcoming new iOS Toodledo app. It’s at any early stage but it will give you a glimpse of the upcoming product. The goals of this new version are to: + Fixing layout for iPhone X and above. + Implementing sub-tasks feature on iPhone app + Performance improvement and Memory leaks fixes. + Better Reminders for tasks + Fixing issues with iOS 13+ Please feel free to install and test this app. Here are the instructions for doing that. + Download Testflight app from Appstore + Download Toodledo version from here : Test Flight Link By the way, as this is in beta, this release is only partway there. Specifically: + There are still some issues with performance + More work is needed for layout of subtasks + The new user interface design is still evolving + New Apple watch app. But as you try this out, please give us constructive feedback, we appreciate it! Hello,
the new update is starting now. Finally it is the app with support for the larger screen of my iPhone Xs Max. That is really great! I will test it now. If I find anything I will let you know. I am really waiting for the next releases with dark mode support and so on. Thank you very much! |

I have one suggestion for a more clear overview.
It is not uncluttered now because you have the task in one line and under it you have the date and so on. So it is two lines for every task. Thisis not so easy to see in my opinion. In my opinion for the overview it would be much clearer to see if every task has one line (like the web view - and is printed in bold font) and the details of due-date, notes-symbol are behind the task name in a smaller font. Or at least an option to make the font of the task bigger and/or bold and the font of the details like due-date in the next line smaller. Would that be possible? Some bugs I found:
- The search field for tasks is not working - When you add a new task there is no default due date set |

Long time coming! Can’t wait for the full release!

One more bug:
- every task shows an alarm bell, even if no alarm is set |

On an iPhone 6, iOS 12.4.6: In multi-line mode the symbols for notes, calendar, alarm are not aligned (among themselves) and the text is written over note and alarm symbol.

Some bugs I found: - When you add a new task there is no default due date set I found out that this is a default setting you can set. I think I set it in the past and forgot about this feature. Now I enabled the default due date for today and it is working as it should. |

When you have tasks for next year: In the task list the year is missing for the displayed due date.

@ Anant
Was the feedback helpful for you? Do you need more information? As I asked in the other thread could you please give us some updates when we will see the next (beta) update with new layout and dark mode support? Thanks |

A few first impressions:
I like the overall feel of the task list. I note the same minor bugs as up above. The controls at the top of habits, lists, and outlines are still absent, although on Notes there is still an add note button. Turning on multiline lists in preferences alters the formatting to make it uglier, but adds no content. More as I see it. This is on an iPhone XR running most recent system. Morning,
I can't see any of my notes. Have tried a forced sync from the web - no joy. Can see tasks without issue. |

Hello Anant,
I am runnning 3.4 (5578). I have a few minor issues. ios 13.6 1. on Iphone XR all tasks in list view have a small note icon, even if they don't have a note. 2. In settings, I don't see a way to add a goal. I can delete or mify existing ones. 3. When I duplicate a list, it doesn't duplicate it it just creates a new blank list. It works properly in outlines On iPad. All the same versions, 1. Task view layout in portrait mode is screwy. On the right side, it shows the task and note at the top, and all the meta information is all the way at the bottom running off the bottom. All other comments are the same. |
