Shortcut to create new task outside of web site (mac)

I searched through the forums and could not find, so I'll ask here. I'm wondering it there is an app or script or something for mac that I can assign a keyboard shortcut to so I can add a task to toodledo no matter what program I am in. Thanks.

You can try our Firefox addon if you use Firefox as your web browser.

It has a keyboard shortcut to add a task.
