Hi everybody,

what about the date when you send an email to toodledo? Is there a way to catch the date as the start date?

Thanks in advance

Hi, did you try looking at this section of Help (https://www.toodledo.com/info/help_email.php)? It explains in detail.

Simon,

I thank you because I discovered interesting opportunities. However I was looking for an automatic catch of the date.

I send today so I catch the today date, or the date of the email as the start date

I think the best you can do is to learn the syntax so you can set the the date or adjust your settings in New Task Defaults. I have set a folder called INBOX and all my new tasks that get sent in by various means (inc email) default to there. Then I do a mini review and move them from INBOX and adjust the settings.

If you set the default start-date for tasks to be "Today" then when you email in a task the startdate will get todays date. Thats the only way to do it.
