Autocreate folders from e-mail

I would like to send an e-mail and have it auto-create a folder if the folder doesn't exist. After searching this forum, I've seen this request as far back as 2009, and the most recent was Feb 2010. The reply then from Administrator was "It's on our to do list". I haven't been able to find a status since then.
Is it still on the list? Is it already possible? I use the .CSV import which does this, but I'd like to transition my process to using email to add tasks.

We have decided to not allow folders to be added via email at this time, because it is too easy to accidentally add folders in this way if you make a spelling error, or if someone else happens to email your secret address. To add new folders, please do so on our website via the folder management page.
