Are there ANY third party applications that will allow me to retrieve files I attach to Toodledo tasks? I expected I could at least use the Toodledo iPad app to do this, but it seems that I can't. I truly need this application, which is why I bought pro plus in the first place.

File attachments are currently only available from our website, but it is in our roadmap to make them available via our iOS app.

I'm an experienced alpha and beta tester and would be happy to assist with that. That functionality is something I truly need, and frankly something I expected with Pro Plus. Thanks

I completely agree. I have a Pro Plus account too. I was expecting (simple) access to files as well, a must for certain tasks. Thatmis why I add these to the tasks in the first place. And it can't be that difficult to get this implemented..... It is key to me. That is why I moved to Toodledo: file attachments.
