Ipad App Note Formatting

When I use the HTML code to bold items it works fine when viewing the note on the web but in the ipad app it shows the code and does not bold the item. Is this a bug or is there something else I need to do to see the formatting on the ipad?

This is a bug. The iOS app does not yet obey the formatting provided on the web. We plan to fix this.
