Hi,

I'm totally new to toodledo and I want to try it out.
However, for me it would be important that I can access my task list also if there is no internet connection and that my data are store (only) locally on my computer and not somewhere on a server where I have no control (and maybe sometimes no connection).

is it possible to use toodledo as a "standalone" application with local data storage only on my computer in MacOS X?

Kind regards

Toodledo is a web-based application. There is no Toodledo desktop application.

There is, though, a Mac desktop application from Appigo:

It's a nice application that syncs with Appigo's online task manager. But, quite frankly, I don't recommend it if you are syncing with Toodledo. It is missing many of the Toodledo fields, and I had some serious problems with the syncing. I strongly suggest that you backup your tasks before attempting your first sync. (There's a 14-day trial version available.)

If you have an iPhone/iPad or an Android device, you can sync your Toodledo data so that you can access it offline. Check out the apps here: http://www.toodledo.com/tools/directory.php

@Purveyor:
thanks for your explanation.
That's a pity (and I may have misunderstood a hint in an ebook which said toodledo could also be used as a standalone application. :(

I have no iPhone/iPad/Android.

So it seems that toodledo is not the right one for me, unfortunately.

Actually, there are a few other alternatives. Have a look in these forums https://www.toodledo.com/forums/8/0/third-party-applications.html
