Bookmarks not changing page

I am using Firefox 7. I have a couple of searches bookmarked. I did the bookmarks by clicking the search with the right button, then choosing "Open in new window" and bookmarking that URL (something like http://www.toodledo.com/tasks/index.php?#search_12345).
Let's assume I have two bookmarks: "Today Actions" and "Tickler". I click on the bookmarks and they generally take me on the page of the correct search, but if I am already on the Tickler search, and I click the "Today Actions" bookmark, the browser remains on the Tickler view. I expected that it would take me to the "Today Actions" search. This is the same on reverse, so if I'm already on the "Today Actions" search the Tickler bookmark won't take me to the Tickler search. If I am on any other view, for example the Status view, and I click on the bookmark of a search, the browser correctly takes me to the desired search. What can I do about it? Otherwise, can you do something about it? Thanks. |

I will lok into this. Can you please let us know what happens when you reload the page after clicking on a bookmark that doesn't work?

If I reload, the browser correctly takes me to the desired page.
Thanks for the attention. |

We will look into this on Firefox.

FYI I found a workaround. It seems Firefox does not reload the page if the only thing that changes is the "anchor" part of the URL. To get around this, I changed the bookmarks so that I introduce a "dummy" parameter in the HTTP request to make Firefox think that they are two different URLs.
So, if my bookmarks are: http://www.toodledo.com/tasks/index.php?#status_0 http://www.toodledo.com/tasks/index.php?#status_1 then the view does NOT change when I click one of the bookmarks after I clicked the other. But if my bookmarks are: http://www.toodledo.com/tasks/index.php?dummy1=0#status_0 http://www.toodledo.com/tasks/index.php?dummy1=1#status_1 then the view DOES change when I click one of the bookmarks after I clicked the other. I hope that having "dummy1" in the GET request is not a problem for your application. |

That will work fine.
