I just realized that the complete list of tags is visible to my collaborators. In the documentation, I read the following:
Keep in mind that it is not currently possible to make tags, or locations private. Collaborators will be able to see the names of your tags and locations in the menu that appears when they edit a task that they have permission to edit. Does this mean that they will see my tag names only if they are allowed to actually edit tasks (compared with only having permission to view them)? Best regards, Malin |

Yes. If they can add or edit your list then they can view all of your tag names.

Ok, thanks for replying.
Any chance you might consider changing that, or making it optional? Personally I don't really see the point in sharing my tag names with my collaborators. I'd much prefer to be able to choose tag names without having to explain them to anybody else. ;-) |

It would be difficult for us to add this, but it is on our to-do list.
