Can Tasks be moved to the Notebook?

When I am working on a Task I often keep track of status using task notes. When a Task with a lot of notes is complete, I would like to be able to move it to the Notebook for future reference. Right now I copy the notes and then set up a new Notebook page with the copied information then I check the Task as complete. Is there a more efficient way to do this?
I am worried about losing the information.

It is not currently possible to automatically turn the note of a completed task into a notebook entry. Thanks for the suggestion.
