How to turn OFF reminders on iPad/iPhone?

i do not want Toodledo to sync with my notes and reminders etc on my iPhone and iPad as I'm using Toodledo for work projects whereas my reminders are personal.
I go to 'Siri & Reminders' in settings and the options here are not very clear at all. Is it that Siri is set to Off and Reminders are set to On.. or is the Off/On options for both Siri and Reminders? I have spent an hour trying to turn Reminders Off - even gone as far as to uninstall the app on both my devices and delete my Toodledo account to start again.
Any clarity on how NOT to sync with my notes/reminders would be greatly appreciated?

To not sync with Reminders, go to the "Siri & Reminders" section in settings and switch it to "Off". This is the default setting.
