subtask dates inherit from parent task

I don't know if this is possible, I have tasks in folders that have many subtasks, all due on the same day. I have set up templates yet when I need to add the task (and sub-tasks) to a folder I have to click on every date and change it. From the post below I can see that this has been on your to-do since 2010, when is it going to get to-done?
A lot of folks would like subtasks to inherit properties from their parent, and fair enough, me too. But what would really help me is if the parent would take on the due date of the oldest subtask. so if one subtask is due tomorrow and three others are due next week, the parent task would show that it (part of it, that is) is due tomorrow. Project management software generally can do that sort of thing. Does it seem possible here? Jake Toodledo Admin Posted: Oct 04, 2010 Score: 0 Quote This enhancement is on our to-do list. Thanks patrick Posted: Oct 06, 2010 Score: 0 Quote That'll be lovely. Thanks for letting me know. |

It is still on our to-do list. Sorry. You could try using our multi-edit tool to quickly edit the subtasks.
