Once the priorities have been auto-established at each level, can you manually change the priority in case there are several tied for importance?

You can pick multiple sort criteria to do this. For example, you could sort by importance, and then by priority and then by due-date. For tasks with the same importance, they would then be sorted by priority, and so on.
