Task to folder

It is common to enter a task then realize it is more of a project and should be a folder. Is there anyway to convert that task to a folder short of deleting and starting over?

You can copy and paste the task name to create the folder. :)
That's about it. |

Bummer. Thanks... seems so obvious that it should be possible, I thought I was missing something.

I don't think it's obvious to everyone. It's never crossed my mind to do it, so it's never crossed my mind to want TD to do it for me. Generally, when I set up a system of this kind, I know that the folders will be areas of responsibility or projects, which will never misconstrued as tasks. Areas of responsibility will be things like "Work", "Home", "Murder Incorporated". Projects like "PPC Website" or "build explosive device". Tasks are generally verb-noun, like "buy materials", "call hitman", things like that. So, for me, and others, converting one to the other simply doesn't occur.

You could use subtasks to break down projects, and then you wouldn't need to create a folder in this way.
