I don't understand why is the parent task appear in task list? For example, if I have task - "Parent Task". And my parent task has subtasks - "SubTask1", "SubTask2" and etc.
Why are the parent task and subtasks displaed in common list? I guess that parent task should not be displayed in the list while the subtasks are not compleated?

The parent task will be displayed so you know where the subtasks belong and so that the subtasks are grouped together. Often, it is not clear immediately which parent the subtask belongs to.

However, you can get what you want by making the parent tasks hidden with a filter and then showing your tasks with the subtask setting set to "Inline"

I make parent tasks that I don't want in my lists to be "negative priority." then it is easy to filter them out.
