Text alarm to AT&T phone

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 that I would like to get due time alarms to via text, and I set up the alarm with the following "[email protected]", but it's not working. Does it take a certain amount of time after you've entered the new info for the texts to start coming through, or is there something else I'm missing?

First, try sending yourself an email to that address and see if it arrives on your phone. If it does, then the problem is with Toodledo, If it does not then the problem is with AT&T.
