First Time Sync / Excessive API Usage

Just purchased a GOLD subscription and am trying to sync from Appigo's TODO app (previously kept in synch via iCloud on an iPhone, iPad, Macbook Pro, and Mac Desktop) to Toodledo. Been at it more than 24 hours, and trying (and failing) to deal with the "Excessive API usage over the last 1 hour" problem. With a history of deleted tasks along with current tasks, I'm only looking at five or six hundred total. But I'm still getting errors everywhere.
Is there a workaround to this 250 / excessive API usage problem? Why does this exist for paid usage / gold membership? And is there any workaround for first-time setup? |

Our API allows 3rd party apps to make 1000 connections per hour. Each connection can be used to add/edit up to 50 tasks. So, it should be possible for an app to add 50,000 tasks without running into any limitations. This sounds like its a problem with Appigo's Todo app not syncing correctly. Please contact their support staff for assistance with this problem since we cannot support 3rd party apps.
