Did Adding a Task Just Get More Complicated?

I switched to the new view.
With the old version, I clicked "Add Task" and was immediately able to select a date/time/and alarm. Is it true that now I need an additional mouse click to be able to add that information? If so, yes, it's only one click, but it makes it more cumbersome. I have tons of screen space. You could cover up the rightmost columns and it wouldn't be a problem. With the old "Add Task" form you have to click the "due-date" box for the calendar to appear. With the new "Add Task" form, you do the same thing. It just looks a little different. So it should be the same number of clicks.

Thanks, Jake.
Please put it as a suggestion for the future. Eliminating an extra click is always a good thing, and saving screen real estate or keeping things less cluttered is not needed here. |
